Not Caring is Good/Bad

Apathy is one of the few states of mind I have left.

There's good apathy, and then there's bad apathy.

Good apathy is when you don't care about shit that doesn't really matter. Nihilism is extremely powerful 'good' apathy.

Bad apathy is when you don't care about the things that will fuck you up.

The good part of apathy is being immoral. Being immoral is absolute freedom to do what you want. This hedonistic and destructive behavior is healthy to stimulate the feeling of actually having self worth. Ego is the most important trait of the human race, regardless of the stigma it receives in the media.

Apathy toward the 'right' flavored cereal brand or the 'right' television should be valued. Who cares if your TV is one ungodly inch smaller than your neighbors'? Is your penis envy that important to your mental well-being?

Question this: Is the next part of my life really going to matter?

Unless it's reading my blog, eating, or masturbating, the answer is no.

So why pretend that every little piece of your life is going to significantly change the course of human history.

Look at the Butterfly Effect. It's only relevant to your life, unless you kill the president, but not even (if you read my last post).

The point being is that people value themselves externally over people than internally.

Internally, you're the most important person. This means that your opinions and interests and tastes are more important than other human being comfort specifications.

Externally, you don't mean shit.

If you wear something that someone else picks for you to get attention, that's stupid. You have bad apathy. If you are reading this, you are on the right path to a better future.

Externally, you are human. You have the same rights as every other human has. The right to shut the fuck up and die. Honestly, you and the other humans around you decrease the value of your internal self. You can shoot the bastards (external) or separate yourself (internal).

Externally, you never mattered in the first place, but internally, you would never want to die.

When your -ternals mix, the proper name for it is suicide.

Apathy toward the gas you use in your death machine (car) doesn't matter, but the current state of your liberty will.

Long story short, you shouldn't give a fuck.
